The vehicle somehow became partially airborne before crashing into the house and ending up on top of a parked SUV.

Both occupants were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said. It was not known if they were still hospitalized Monday.

No one inside the home was injured, police said.

Dublin police Capt. Miguel Campos said the preliminary investigation revealed “pedal confusion was the cause of the collision” and that alcohol or drugs were not factors.
