Officers were called to the 1500 block of Kennedy Drive around 2:40 p.m. for a report of a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle, Milpitas police Capt. Tyler Jamison said in a news release. A parked vehicle was also impacted as a result of the collision.
Jamison said the motorcyclist was taken to an area hospital, where he died of his injuries. The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office will release his identity after it is confirmed and his next of kin is notified.
The driver of the involved vehicle stopped at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, Jamison said. Neither alcohol nor drugs appeared to play a role in the collision.
