
Authorities on Wednesday reported that there were 151 arrests at this year’s Stagecoach Music Festival, up 20% from last year,
The Indio Police Department also reported 86 handicap parking citations, up 3% from 2024.

The annual festival took place from Friday, April 25 to Sunday April, 27, though campers came to the grounds beginning Thursday morning.

Of the arrests, 54 people were for false identification, police said. Three people were arrested oln suspicion of drug possession and three on offenses related to public intoxication.
Another 91 people were arrested on suspicion of offenses that police didn’t specify.
The report of increased arrests follows a report from the two-weekend Coachella Music Festival, which also saw a double-digit spike in arests this year compared to 2024, authorities said.
