Stagecoach 2025: Here’s the fashion at the country music festival

While Coachella is known for its trendy festival fashion, the festival’s country counterpart also inspires festivalgoers to pull out all the stops.

This year, boots made for walkin’ are back at the Stagecoach Country Music Festival at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, and the looks are frilly and fun with fringe, stars and bold colors.

Although not pictured here, one of the hottest trends this year is a Doc Holliday tee, featuring the late Val Kilmer and various quotes from the film “Tombstone,” such as “Say when,” or “I’m Your Huckleberry.”

The Empire Polo Club in Indio was extra breezy this weekend, and festivalgoers were battling dust with scarves, bandanas and glasses. The result: Stagecoach has had a fun Mad Max, western chic aesthetic.

Some of the best Stagecoach fashion moments have been from the folks who threw a curve ball. Who says a country music, America-lovin’ man can’t rock a leather kilt? No one at Stagecoach!

Another big trend has been the sheer dress over a bikini fit, paired with bandana masks and straw hats.

Just like Coachella, leopard print is having a major moment right now at Stagecoach, and so are belts and sequins. Some festivalgoers are even layering up, with five or six belts on at the same time.

Fringe and metallics were also big this year, from dresses to boots, shimmer and glam were a fun component festivalgoers brought into their ensembles.

Stagecoach wouldn’t be the destination country music festival it is without a sea of cowboy hats covering the Empire Polo Club festival grounds. While some like their hats pristine, with accents that match their outfits, others take pride in how tattered and weathered their hats have become over the years.
