WALNUT CREEK — Two women died Thursday night in what police are calling a double homicide, authorities said.

Little information was available immediately, but police in a statement said the killings happened about 11:45 p.m. on Kelobra Court. Officers responding to the scene found the women dead, police said.
Police said there is no indication of an ongoing threat to the community. They did not release any other information, citing the active nature of the investigation. They said they would have more information later Friday.
