Delta placed under a heat advisory until Saturday night

Delta is included in a heat advisory issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 12:59 p.m. The advisory is in effect until 11 p.m.

According to the NWS Sacramento CA, “High temperatures of 95 to 105 degrees expected. Overnight low temperatures in the 60s to 70s. Widespread Moderate HeatRisk with areas of Major HeatRisk.”

“Heat related illnesses increase significantly during heat events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities,” the NWS said.

Central Sacramento Valley
