Some 35,000 tickets have already been sold to the match against the Washington Sprit at Oracle Park — just shy of a record for an NWSL game and U.S. women’s professional league sports.

The previous attendance record of 35,038 fans was set last year when Bay FC traveled to Wrigley Field to take on the Chicago Red Stars. Oracle Park, home to the San Francisco Giants, has a capacity of 40,260.

There’s a lot to root for. With 10 games remaining, Bay FC is only three points out of the final eighth playoff spot.
