San Jose: Man beaten to death at home, suspect arrested

SAN JOSE — A man was found beaten to death at a San Jose home late Sunday, and another man has been arrested in connection with the killing, police said.

Officers were called at 9:04 p.m. to a residence on Danze Drive, not far from Monterey Road in the city’s Roundtable neighborhood, for a report of a suspicious circumstance, according to the San Jose Police Department.

The 911 caller reported arriving home to find a housemate “who appeared to have been murdered in the home,” and police said officers found a man “suffering multiple injuries that were consistent with being physically assaulted.”
