A store devoted exclusively to charcuterie boards, Graze Craze is now serving up boxes full of cured meats and cheeses, fruits, veggies, jams, dips and just about anything you could dream of.
The whimsical chain has stores all over the country, including one in Milpitas and Modesto, but their newest location in Pleasant Hill is the first in the East Bay.
It was opened by longtime Contra Costa County resident Michele Sears Rose.
“Graze Craze is all about bringing people together to enjoy exceptional food that’s as beautiful as it is delicious,” said Sears Rose. “I opened this shop to invest in something my husband is passionate about, while doing something I love—serving the community. We’re excited to serve the Pleasant Hill and East Bay areas and offer a unique new shareable food experience that makes for the perfect centerpiece for creating memories.”
The company claims to be “transforming charcuterie into an art form” while packaging its to-go boxes in a few categories, including the The Gone Grazey, a classic charcuterie arrangement, the Sweet and Grazey, a dessert-centered box, and the Brunch Board, which features meats, cheeses, fruits, eggs and pastries.
There are also vegetarian and keto options.
The boxes are sold by serving size, with grab-n-go snacks ($12) and individual meals ($17) offered for one person, and larger boxes offered from 2 to 20 people, making the store a particularly useful option for folks planning summertime events.
Details: Open Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday until 4 p.m., at 1200 Contra Costa Blvd. in Concord; grazecraze.com.
