
MORGAN HILL — A body was found Wednesday evening on the banks of Anderson Lake, authorities said.

The body was found around 7:30 p.m., said Captain Mario Ramirez of the Morgan Hill Police Department. The lake is currently drained, he added.
“Due to the condition of the body, it was too hard to make an identification,” Ramirez said. He did not say how long it might take officials to positively identify the remains.
Authorities did not specify any possible link to a missing-persons case that was reported in the city Wednesday.
