EL CERRITO — Four men were arrested early Wednesday after police found a car loaded with plastic skeletons, inflatable devices and other Halloween decorations they said they suspected were taken from homes in the area.

Police booked all four men into the Martinez Detention Facility following their arrest on suspicion of grand theft, El Cerrito police Lt. Aaron Leone said. One officer located the car near the 700 block of Colusa Avenue after being called there about 3:50 a.m.
Leone said one of the suspects was in the car, and the other three were trying to run away.
“They’re not kids,” Leone said. “They should’ve known better.”
