A man suspected of a fatal shooting in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood was arrested after being detained by BART police in Oakland.
The fatal attack was reported around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, San Francisco police said. The location was not specified in the department’s press release.
A man was found with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he was declared dead, police said.
Investigators determined that a 26-year-old man detained in Oakland matched the description of the suspect. He was brought to San Francisco County Jail and booked for charges related to the shooting.
