
OAKLAND — Two people were injured in a shooting in Oakland Sunday afternoon, authorities said.
A 16-year-old boy and a 63-year-old man were both injured, according to the Oakland Police Department.
According to initial reports, the two victims were inside a neighborhood market on the 700 block of Adeline Street in west Oakland when two suspects confronted the teen and started shooting at him around 1:25 p.m. The teenager was hit at least twice, police said.

The 63-year-old man suffered a graze wound, police added. Both victims were in stable condition Monday morning.
The two suspects then fled the store on foot, police said. Authorities believe that the teen was the intended target of the shooting, according to initial reports.
Police have not yet determined a motive.
