Officers treated him at the scene, but the man died there. The homicide investigation is the fourth one by Antioch police in 2025. They ruled one of the previous three homicides justifiable.

Authorities did not identify the person right away, pending notification of relatives and citing the investigation. Police asked anyone in the public with information to contact Det. John Cox at [email protected] or 925-481-8147.
