Ivanka Trump may have stepped away from a full-time role in her father’s second administration, but she’s keeping a hand in White House activities by working with Dana White to stage an Ultimate Fighting Championship bout on the grounds of the White House to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary of independence.
White, the president and CEO of UFC, revealed in an interview Monday that he is collaborating on the fight-night event with the oldest daughter of President Donald Trump, who is known to be a regular at UFC events, the Daily Mail reported. Ivanka Trump served as Trump’s senior White House adviser during his first term, from 2016 to 2017.

White told Front Office Sports that the event is “definitely happening” and is likely to take place in July 2026 to coincide with other Independence Day celebrations. White said the event also will be broadcast on CBS, the Daily Mail reported.
“I feel really good about how that’s progressing,” White told Front Office Sports. “We’re actually heading (to Washington) at the end of August for meetings about it. Ivanka is also involved in this.”
“We’ll be making a presentation and then will look to hear back about what they like about it and don’t like,” White also said.
If Ivanka Trump is involved in organizing the event, it will be her first return to Washington, D.C., in an official capacity since her father took office in January. Ivanka Trump, who served as a Trump Organization vice president and fashion brand entrepreneur before campaigning for her father in 2016, announced that she was getting out of politics in 2022. That’s when her father announced he would seek reelection to the White House in 2024. She said she wanted to focus on raising her three children, Arabella, Joseph and Theodore, with husband Jared Kushner, as they made a new “private” family life for themselves in Miami.
It has been reported that Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, who also served in Trump’s first administration, may be advising the president behind the scenes. But to the public, Ivanka Trump has put forward the idea that she’s only focused on being a mother, getting into great shape and wearing beautiful clothes while attending lavish society events, like Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s over-the-top Venice wedding, according to Daily Beat writer Nell Scovell.
“In post after post on social media, Ivanka showcases her flowing blond Mar-a-Lago locks, long legs, toned midriff and ample chest,” Scovell wrote last week. “She swans in fancy British hotels, on gondolas in Venice and on Manhattan rooftops. Gone are the Davos power sheaths and blunt business bob from her time as White House senior adviser.
Instead, Ivanka has slipped into something a little more comfortable — the role of a “hot trad wife.”
Whether or not Ivanka Trump has become a “trad wife,” organizing what her father might see as the ultimate July 4 party at the White House seems to align with her new priorities, even if the party revolves around watching two people fighting and could be regarded as more Las Vegas than Washington, D.C.
