A tire came off of a pickup truck on the 60 Freeway in Pomona and bounced into opposing lanes and crashed through the windshield of a driver from Moreno Valley, killing her, early Monday morning, Aug. 11.

The collision on the eastbound 60, west of Garey Avenue, was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 2:26 a.m.
