Hayward police are investigating a shooting near 27369 Manon Ave. in Hayward that sent two men to the hospital Friday night. Police said they have taken someone into custody and are working to determine their involvement, according to authorities.
Around 8:50 p.m. on Friday, police responded to the incident location and found a 27-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital and is currently in critical but stable condition, authorities said.
Later, a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound walked into a local Hayward hospital and is in stable condition, police said.
The individual taken into custody by the police has not been identified.
In addition, police said they have located a vehicle that they believe to be involved in the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing.
