
SAN MATEO COUNTY – A preliminary magnitude 3.3 earthquake jolted the San Mateo County coastline Wednesday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The temblor struck at 9:28 p.m. roughly 8.4 miles southwest of Pescadero, the USGS reported.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
The quake was felt as far away as San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose and Santa Cruz, according to the USGS.
