SAN BRUNO — Someone has way, way more than enough to purchase a victory cigar after buying a Powerball lottery game ticket worth $677,821 Monday at a specialty tobacco store here, officials said.
The unknown player was the only one in the state to pick all five regular game numbers, which were 8,11, 28, 33 and 42.
Had the player picked the Powerball number, which was 2, they would have won $308 million.
The ticket was purchased at Specialty Tobacco Outlet, 1230 L El Camino Real.
