PETTY THEFT: 10:09 a.m. on Roberts Road. A caller reported that an unknown suspect smashed the rear window to their silver Porsche Macan Turbo between Thursday night and Friday morning. They said the suspect took a pickleball bag, pickleball items and golf shoes for a loss of about $600.
GRAND THEFT: 3:47 p.m. at Palapa Lounge Beachwear on West Main Street. A caller said a suspect took $985 worth of swimwear on Thursday at 2:25 p.m. They also said they had video footage of the theft.
JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 8:02 p.m. at Chevron on Blossom Hill Road. A caller said a group of 20 people on dirt bikes were doing wheelies and revving their engines in the parking lot. Some left heading southbound on Los Gatos Boulevard. Police were unable to locate them.
RECKLESS VEHICLE: 10:13 p.m. at Shannon Road and Cherry Blossom Lane. A Jeep was heading westbound on Shannon Road near Hicks Road, speeding at 80 mph, and almost hit someone crossing the street. The police were unable to locate the driver.
July 19
VEHICLE ACCIDENT 4:17 p.m. at University Avenue and Cooper Court. A Black Hyundai Ionic and a blue Mercedes collided. Their cars were stuck in the middle of the road, causing police to report it as a traffic hazard.
RECKLESS VEHICLE: 11:11 p.m. at Los Gatos-Saratoga Road and North Santa Cruz Avenue. A red Toyota Avalon was reportedly swerving in and out of the lane while driving eastbound on Highway 9. Police were unable to locate the car.
July 20
PETTY THEFT: 10:46 a.m. at Los Gatos Oaks Apartments on Blossom Hill Road. A caller said that an unknown suspect entered their unlocked car and rummaged through it sometime Saturday night or early Sunday morning. They reported cash and their Airpods stolen.
MUNICIPAL CODE VIOLATION: 6:28 p.m. at Cornerstone Title Company on North Santa Cruz Avenue. Three unhoused men were smoking weed and yelling at people walking by or driving by. The caller didn’t see a weapon on them. Police said they were unable to locate the men when they arrived on the scene.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON: 9:07 p.m. on Newell Avenue. A caller reported that a suspect came to their door and looked into the window. They said they believed the suspect was possibly casing houses.
