First look at Disneyland VIP lounge offering killer fireworks views

A new music-themed VIP lounge for Disneyland high rollers with concierge level access will offer killer views of the Anaheim theme park’s fireworks with the musical soundtrack for the show synced up to the nighttime spectacular.

The new High Key Club concierge lounge debuting Thursday, July 10 at the Disneyland Hotel will double as a fireworks viewing area for club level hotel guests.

The High Key Club will nearly double the size of the former E-Ticket Club club-level lounge in the hotel’s Adventureland Tower.

The High Key Club will pay homage to the hotel’s 1950s mid-century modern aesthetic with a custom soundtrack showcasing the sounds, songs, musicians and voices of early Disneyland.

A 50-foot-wide mural depicting Disneyland soundscapes will stretch along one wall of the lounge.

Displays will include band photos, musical instruments and foley equipment that contributed to the history of Disneyland music. Light fixtures will resemble classic Disney records. Metal discs once used on a self-playing music machine in Walt Disney’s private apartment above the Disneyland fire station will be showcased.

The club level concierge lounge will offer continental breakfast in the morning, wine and cheese receptions during the day and drinks and desserts in the evening.

Club Level rooms are running about $1,400 to $1,500 a night this week at the Disneyland Hotel.

Disneyland Hotel guests can save up to 20% on Sunday through Thursday night stay through Aug. 14 as part of the park’s 70th anniversary celebration.
