Juveniles on e-bikes cause disruptions in Los Gatos

PETTY THEFT: 9:29 a.m. on Rose Avenue. A rear license plate was stolen off a car.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 3:09 p.m. at Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue. Six juveniles on e-bikes were cursing at people and riding recklessly.

Juvenile disturbances reported in downtown Los Gatos

JUVENIE DISTURBANCE: 4:42 p.m. at Blossom Hill and Harwood roads. The caller said six or seven juveniles ran him off the road and yelled expletives at him and and flipped him off. There were no injuries or vehicle damage reported.

PETTY THEFT: 6:43 p.m. at Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue. An unhoused man stole food items and alcohol and was sitting and eating on the patio.

TRAFFIC HAZARD: 11:22 p.m. at North Santa Cruz Avenue and West Main Street. Some juveniles put a large bucket in the middle of the road. A driver moved it to the side.

June 21

RECKLESS VEHICLE: 11:16 a.m. at Shannon and Short roads. A caller said a tan SUV passed their vehicle and bicyclists, almost hitting six of them.

RECKLESS VEHICLE: 1:50 p.m. at Los Gatos-Saratoga Road and North Santa Cruz Avenue. A road rage incident was reported on Highway 9. A woman driving a Tesla Cybertruck with a child in the backseat was engaging in erratic driving and was following the caller.

PETTY THEFT: 5:05 p.m. at Vasona Park on Garden Hill Drive. Two bags were taken from an unlocked vehicle. Among the items stolen were a wallet, ID and cash.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 6:54 p.m. at Los Gatos-Saratoga Road and North Santa Cruz Avenue. Three juveniles on e-bikes ran a red light. They were last seen riding southbound on North Santa Cruz Avenue.

June 22

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 7 p.m. at Andale Taqueria on North Santa Cruz Avenue. Three to six juveniles were riding e-bikes and not being careful of pedestrians. They were last seen heading southbound on North Santa Cruz Avenue.
