
OAKLAND – Three people were arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a business in Oakland on Sunday, police said.

The incident happened just before 10:15 p.m. in the 2400 block of MacArthur Boulevard, according to the Oakland Police Department.
Two people entered the business and threatened the victim with an object before stealing cigarettes and cash, police said. They left the area in a car driven by a third person.
Shortly before 10:30 p.m., officers found the car near 62nd Avenue and Eastlawn Street. The driver did not pull over when officers attempted an enforcement stop, according to police.
Police said the car later collided with a parked vehicle in the 1400 block of 78th Avenue. The suspects ran from the car, but were later arrested by officers. A gun was also recovered.
