Morgan Hill: Chick-fil-A sets opening date for its first restaurant in this city

Chick-fil-A  has set Thursday, May 29, as the opening date for its first Morgan Hill restaurant, located a couple of blocks west of the Cochrane Road / Highway 101 interchange.

Dine-in and takeout service will begin at 6:30 a.m.

Besides its lineup of classic fried-chicken sandwiches, the chain born 79 years ago in Georgia offers seasonal specials. For spring and early summer, Smokehouse BBQ Bacon sandwiches and Pineapple Dragonfruit beverages top the menu.

This location will be locally owned and operated by Kevin Donohue, a Northern California native who has been with the company since 2019.

For each new local restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A donates $25,000 to Feeding America, with the funds being distributed in the Bay Area.

In addition, this location will give free entrees for a year to 100 local heroes making a difference in the Morgan Hill area.
