Man shot several times after dispute in Oakland’s San Antonio neighborhood

OAKLAND — A man was wounded several times in a shooting in the San Antonio neighborhood on Thursday morning, police said.

The man’s condition was not known immediately. An ambulance rushed him to a hospital after he left the shooting scene and collapsed in the 1700 block of International Boulevard.

The shooting happened in the 1400 block of 18th Avenue about 11:30 a.m., police said.

Police were working to determine the motive, but said that the wounded man apparently got into a dispute with another person and that gunfire followed.

Police said they did not have any suspect information and had not made any arrests.
