
OAKLAND — Two people were killed and another person was wounded in three shootings that happened within three hours Sunday night in different areas of the city, authorities said.
None of the shootings are related, authorities said.

About 11:52 p.m. Sunday a 30-year-old man was found shot to death outside in the 600 block of 16th Street in the Uptown district. The name of the man, an Oakland resident, has not been released.

He was found by officers responding to a report of a person down in the street. More than a dozen shell casings were found in the area.
A motive for the killing is under investigation. No arrests have been made and no suspect information has been released.
Police said at this time there is nothing to indicate the killing is related to another Uptown shooting early Sunday in the 1900 block of Telegraph Avenue that left a woman and two men wounded.
The other homicide Sunday — a drive-by shooting — happened about 9:08 p.m. in the 1700 block of International Boulevard, authorities said.
Police said a 19-year-old Fresno woman was shot while standing in the intersection by someone in a slow moving vehicle going eastbound on International Boulevard.
The woman was taken to a hospital where she later died. Her name has not been released.
Police have not said why the woman was in Oakland or why she was shot. Detailed descriptions of the suspect and the vehicle they were in have not been released.
The non-fatal shooting happened about 11:04 p.m. in the 1500 block of Alice Street.
A 44-year-old man was shot in the leg after getting into a dispute with another person. He was in stable condition at a hospital.
What the dispute was about has not been released. The shooter fled in a vehicle before police got to the scene. No arrests have been made.
With the two killings, Oakland police have now investigated 31 homicides in the city this year. Last year at this time police had investigated 28 homicides in the city.
