
San Jose firefighters responded to a call on Saturday afternoon at mobile home park in North San Jose.
Three mobile homes were involved in the fire, with a fourth initially threatened, according to a social media post from the San Jose Fire Department.
The time of the call was just after 4:15 p.m. A little over an hour later, SFJD officials reported that crews were making “good progress” on the blaze that occurred on the 500 block of Hermitage Lane in North San Jose.
No injuries had been reported as of yet, according to the fire department’s social media post.
Officials are asking people to avoid the area.
The latest update came from a social media follow-up post made at around 5:30 p.m.
“Primary unit heavily involved. One exposure with internal fire damage, the other limited to deck and roof. The fourth structure that was threatened had a fence catch fire but no structure damage,” the post on X reads.
