The case stemmed from a fight between a 16-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl last November in San Jose, San Jose police Officer Tanya Hernandez said in a news release Thursday.

During an investigation, officers learned the girls were being trafficked, Hernandez said.

In January, detectives identified a 17-year-old Morgan Hill boy and a 17-year-old San Martin boy as suspects in the case, Hernandez said. Warrants were issued for their arrest.

Hernandez said one suspect was arrested Feb. 26 in Morgan Hill and the second on March 31 in San Martin. They were both booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall.
