Fire at Alameda Village Yacht Harbor burns two boats

ALAMEDA — Two boats docked at a harbor burned early Wednesday, fire officials said.

City of Alameda fire crews controlled the blaze before it could spread to any of the other boats in the marina, according to social media posts from the the department that began about 4:15 a.m. Nobody was injured.

The boats were at the Marina Village Yacht Harbor in the 1000 block of Marina Village Parkway. Fire crews also used one of their boats to help control the fire.

Fire officials said the blaze is under investigation.
